Iba jeden deň po zverejnení nového loga mesta Trnava vznikla internetová petícia za jeho stiahnutie.

Ako informoval médiá jej iniciátor Michal Lipovský, petíciu založil „na základe množstva negatívnych komentárov k zverejnenému novému logu mesta Trnava“.

„Logo pripomína plagiát, nakoľko sa dá nájsť na internete množstvo takmer rovnakých lôg, nevystihuje Trnavu ako takú a skôr pripomína znak známych cigariet. Preto bola založená petícia na jeho stiahnutie a prehodnotenie,“ vysvetľuje Lipovský.
